Project Reveal: #WinchesterEstate

kitchen design

A home with character feels warm, interesting, and a little bit like it has a story to tell, even if it’s brand new. Our #WinchesterEstate project is a perfect example of how thoughtful design and layered details can bring that kind of charm to life. A place filled with meaning & moments waiting to happen.

A Home That Feels Warm and Welcoming

When we started designing #WinchesterEstate, our goal was to create a home that feels cozy & personal, reflecting our client’s zest for life. This is the kind of home where people feel comfortable right away. It is a place where laughter, conversation, and everyday moments are always welcome.

Alisha explains it best, “This home was designed to have an open-door policy, where neighbors and friends can stop by, share a homemade scone, and even take a ride down the slide to the basement.”

A New House with an Old Soul

Even though #WinchesterEstate is a new build, we did not treat it like an empty box. Instead, we designed it to feel like it has been loved for a long time.

We used antique elements and natural materials to help the home feel collected over time. Each piece was chosen carefully so that it adds depth and meaning, like treasures gathered little by little.

One of the most special parts of this home is how personality shows up in every detail. From cabinetry profiles to ceiling treatments, each design decision was a chance to express something meaningful.

As Alisha shares, “Our design focus was to celebrate our client’s love for life, and we wanted her home to communicate that.”

We wanted this home to feel like it holds memories, even on the very first day. As luxury interior designers, we created this by layering materials and finishes that feel time-worn and authentic. Nothing feels too new or too perfect. Instead, everything feels real and welcoming.

Alisha reflects, “When I walk through her design, it’s her. Our interpretation of her design was that. It defines her perfectly.”

A Home That Feels Collected

Our Project Reveal: #WinchesterEstate shows what can happen when design becomes storytelling. From the moment you walk in, the home feels lived in and full of meaning. It feels like it has grown over time, with each layer adding something special.

That is what makes a house feel like home.
