Looking back, I realize what drew me to interior design was the ability to create something personal.

I started in engineering, where everything was technical and centered around finding one right answer, but I was missing creativity and emotion in the work.

What stood out to me about interior design was that every project could be completely different because every client and home is different.

That idea still shapes our work at Alisha Taylor Interiors today!

Rather than filling every inch with storage, we transformed part of this office closet into an intentional reading nook, giving our #PitchsideManor clients a cozy place to unplug & enjoy a quiet moment during the day.

Tucked behind custom millwork and drenched in a stunning rich paint color, this hidden space proves that sometimes the most impactful design moments are the ones you don’t expect!
