Light Meets Drama our #AspenCourt Custom Home Design
Our #AspenCourt luxury custom home is a celebration of design that’s both fresh and bold, combining light, airy elements with daring, moody accents. We sat down with our very own, Mia Schultz, Interior Designer I, who assisted Alisha with the technical drawings & selections of the project, and went behind-the-design of bringing “the best of both worlds” to life. These clients wanted a bright and inviting home with moments of contrast, and we delivered this vision with a thoughtful mix of warm white cabinetry, wood trim treatments, and countertops with lively movement.
The design direction focused on a balance that would resonate with our clients’ desire for both comfort and character, resulting in spaces that feel just as welcoming as they do unforgettable.
Rich Material Choices and a Stunning Primary Bathroom
A key highlight of #AspenCourt’s luxury custom home design is the use of materials and color. “We used a lot of warm taupes, and whites, and sprinkled in dark grey tones with pops of green!” Schultz shares, reflecting an intentional approach to contrast and depth. Bold, darker tones define rooms like the powder room and gun room, creating an intimate vibe that feels both sophisticated and welcoming. The walnut features, geometric stone tiles, and Brizo lux gold fixtures throughout the home add layers of warmth and elegance.
Schultz is especially excited about the primary bathroom, which promises to be a true showstopper. “We selected a moody quartzite slab for the countertop and main shower wall,” she says. “The shower will have a hammered brass door and unique pendants, making it a truly dreamy space.” Additionally, the makeup vanity with a touch of wallpaper brings in a timeless softness that enhances the room’s refinedness.
Built for Family and Generations to Come
Beyond aesthetics, our #AspenCourt new build project is designed with family longevity in mind. Durability was central to the material selection, as the clients envisioned a home that could accommodate family gatherings and future generations. “Creating fun and timeless secondary bathrooms with unique plumbing fixtures adds character for guests,” Schultz notes, ensuring that each space in the home feels personal.
Now that the project has broken ground, excitement is growing for the finished product.
