Our #CueTheConfetti design blends rich wood and earthy textures for a grounded feel, while neutral tones and bold statement pieces add energy and personality, striking the perfect balance between warmth and wow.
These clients didn’t want a home that blended in. They envisioned something distinct, a design that broke away from the predictable and celebrated their unique style. By embracing bold details, creative architecture, and a personalized design approach, we delivered a design that stands apart in all the right ways—innovative, inviting, and unmistakably theirs.
Designing with Intention: Cue the Bold Yet Neutral Spaces
The inspiration behind our #CueTheConfetti design was driven by our clients’ desire to stand out. They envisioned bold spaces that didn’t overwhelm, grounded in a neutral palette but infused with architectural creativity. One standout strategy was the focus on ceiling designs—each room received custom ceiling treatments that added drama and identity without the need for extra clutter. Especially in open-concept homes where ceilings become a canvas for creativity, using architectural details to define these tall spaces is our elevated design approach in our firm.
Layering Texture and Tone: A Thoughtful Material Palette
To create a cozy, grounded aesthetic, our design team leaned into highlighting wood accents throughout the home. Texture and pattern were essential in making the home feel playful without losing cohesion. The color palette was rooted in warm neutrals, think taupes, dusky blues, and muted greens, allowing the bold design choices to feel approachable and timeless.
Designer Tip: When working with a neutral color scheme, texture is key. Layering materials like wood, stone, and textiles can add depth and warmth, ensuring that a monochromatic palette never feels flat or sterile.
Spaces with Heart: Designing for the Kids
With five children—four boys and one girl—our #CueTheConfetti clients’ home required more than just good flow. It needed to reflect the individuality of each child. From themed rooms to spaces designed around hobbies and interests, the kids’ bedrooms were a major highlight of the project. These spaces aren’t just pretty—they’re personal.
Designer Tip: Kid-centric design is most successful when it balances flexibility with personalization. Custom built-ins, bold but not overly trendy colors, and modular furniture allow the spaces to grow with children over time.
A Home Full of Confetti and Legacy
The #CueTheConfetti new build design was clear from the start: it wasn’t just about luxury, but about meaning. This home needed to reflect their love for travel, their passion for design, and most of all, their dedication to family life. The best luxury custom homes are built around the rhythms of the people who live there. That’s where true luxury lies—not in excess, but in personalization and connection.
